Indonesia

FOREVER WORLD

Project

Our Efforts in Indonesia

Indonesia, previously known as the Dutch East Indies, was a major tea producer before World War II. However, the war had a devastating impact on the tea plantations. In recent years, tea production has increased, particularly in the provinces of Java and Sumatra. Indonesia is currently ranked fourth in the world in both tea production and exports.

Indonesian black tea is quite similar to Ceylon black tea, except that it has a lighter infusion and a fresher, milder aroma. However, it is somewhat lacking in richness and is primarily used for blending and bulking purposes.

Green Tea Estate

A tea plantation built in a hilly area

A suitable planting site for Japanese tea production was selected through climate and soil research.

Green tea manufacturer

This is a green tea production plant where the green tea manufacturing machinery we exported from Japan is in operation.

Maintenance parts, which are a concern with the introduction of foreign-made equipment, can be procured locally, so after-sales service can be provided with no worries.

OUR  MISSION

Japanese tea business as a tourism resource

Consulting for Japanese tea production alone is not enough to make the industry take root locally.

We are also involved in the management of resort facilities based on the Japanese hospitality service. We will brand Indonesian green tea by providing locally produced Japanese tea.

In Indonesia, cultivars suitable for Japanese tea production are also being grown. Fertilization and pest management based on Japanese methods have resulted in healthier tea plantations.

The tea garden has been decorated to create a space for tourists that they would not normally enjoy. At the site, we are also working on ways to make the tea garden a tourist resource.
